Description
Circular discus with raised rim and framing ring. Narrow shoulder. Volute nozzle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 10YR 8/4, very pale brown. Slip: 10R 6/6, light red, to 10R 3/3, dusky red. Early/Middle Roman Corinthian lamp fabric: somewhat soft, very fine and pale (cf. KL029). Dull, thin, uneven slip, very flakey and variable in color, preserved in patches on interior and exterior.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves less than one-quarter of shoulder and one side of nozzle. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and pitting.
