Circular outline. Circular discus has central filling hole with raised rim, design in relief, and flat framing ring. Design of straight bands of herringbone (wreath?) tracing a diamond with four peltae at corners. Small airhole through framing ring at bottom of discus. Shoulder has large, uneven ovules and heavy, off-set panel on left. Scattered clay globules in grooves.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
7.5YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Early/Middle Roman Corinthian red lamp fabric: somewhat hard.
Preservation comment
Two joining fragments preserve more than three quarters of discus and one third of rim. Well preserved but scattered specks of encrustation.
