Description
Wheelmade. Circular, slightly convex body with vertical, slightly everted rim; slight groove on inner side of rim. Convexo-concave, plain discus slopes down to central filling hole (edges broken). Flaring rectangular nozzle; large (L. 0.16 m), oval, off-center wick hole encroaches on rim; traces of burning. Vertical band handle attaches at rim and at maximum dimension of body. Nozzle and handle crooked, hastily applied. Flat, plain, raised base, roughly string-cut base.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
10YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Standard fabric.
Preservation comment
Intact. Very slight, very sparse chipping and fracturing; slight, extensive encrustation.
