Description
Circular discus has filling hole off-center, figural relief, and flat framing ring. Relief to lower left depicts panther striding left with right foreleg raised and head turned back to right. Neck, face, and paws show retouch. Shoulder has ovules. Small clay nodules in grooves and one large one over head of figure. Reconstruct as Dionysos with short chiton type.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
7.5YR 8/4, pink. Early/Middle Roman Corinthian pale lamp fabric: somewhat soft.

Preservation comment
Two join sherds preserve small fragment lower one quarter of discus (KL1969-003) with small part of shoulder and central discus (KL1969-007). Slight, sparse scoring and gouging.
