Description
Circular outline. Circular, concave discus has central filling hole with raised, flat rim, rays, and wide, flat framing ring. Almost flat shoulder has small ovules. Narrow, pierced handles has two grooves in lateral arrangement. Small clay nodules in grooves.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
7.5 YR 8/6, reddish yellow. Early/Middle Roman Corinthian pale lamp fabric: very fine, hard.
Preservation comment
Four joining sherds preserve roughly three quarters of discus, one half of shoulder, and upper handle. Slight chipping; clean breaks; surface in good condition.
