Small, circular, concave discus has three narrow, flat framing rings. Plain, sloping shoulder. Thick-lidded eyes and narrow nose molded at base of elongated nozzle; probably the mouth was the round wickhole.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 2.5Y 7/3, pale yellow. Slip: 7.5YR 5/4 to 4/4, brown. Soft, somewhat gritty fabric has common, very small to small, subrounded, grey and black inclusions and rare, rounded voids; grey hue toward surfaces. Thin, semimatte(?), uneven slip, somewhat mottled and flakey, preserved in patches on interior and exterior. Finger prints on interior of discus from pressing unfired clay into mold.
Preservation comment
One small fragment preserves less than one quarter of shoulder, small part of discus, and base of nozzle. Slight, sparse abrasion and flaking.
