Tear-shaped body. Oval, slightly concave discus has Christogram with rho closed right and slightly flaring bars with at least two interior circles, four filling holes in quadrants, raised rim, and large airhole over front rim. Shoulder has wide groove with herringbone in relief. Rounded nozzle, off axis, flanked by double angled grooves; slight traces of burning. Thick, solid handle with two grooves attaches to discus-rim and extends to base. Circular, flat, plain base has single circular groove around incuse signature: ΧΙΟ|ΝΗⲤ (eta-sigma ligature; square serif on superior iota). Blunt details from surmoulage of worn archetype. Slight ledge, joining ridge, and webbing.

5YR 6/4, light reddish brown. Late Roman Corinthian white fabric: heavy, gritty.
Preservation comment
Intact. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor cracking.
