Circular outline. Circular, concave discus has filling hole left center, relief of vanquished boxer kneeling to right, and two rounded framing rings. Narrow, plain shoulder. Volute nozzle with rounded end attaches to rim; traces of burning. Twisted, round ring handle attaches to back rim and back wall. Circular, plain, slightly concave base.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 5YR 7/8, reddish yellow. Slip: 2.5YR 6/8, red. Fine, somewhat hard fabric with very rare, very small, subangular, light and dark inclusions and rare flecks of golden mica. Thick, somewhat even, glossy slip has slightly metallic sheen, thicker in grooves. Knidian fabric.
