Circular outline. Circular, concave discus has rays and narrow, rounded framing ring. Wide shoulder has large ovules. Upper back wall almost straight. Tall ring handle with two narrow lateral grooves attaches at back of rim and almost to base in sharp point with incised ‘x’.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Early/Middle Roman Corinthian pale lamp fabric: very fine, hard.
Preservation comment
Three sherds, two joining, preserve small part of discus, roughly one third of shoulder, part of upper wall, and entire handle. Slight, sparse scoring and chipping around handle.
