Description
Tear-shaped outline. Handle with two(?) grooves attached at base. Almond-shaped based has two grooves around incuse signature: Θ[ΕΟ]|Δ[ΟΥ]|ΛΟΥ. All details are blunt from worn mold. Thick joining ridge.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Late Roman Corinthian red fabric: somewhat coarse, rare to uncommon very small to small, subrounded, white and very rare, subgangular black inclusions; common small voids.
Preservation comment
Three joining sherds preserve over one half of base and lower wall below seam. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion; sparse patches of encrustation.
