Description
Concave discus has relief of winged Eros facing right and reaching up with left arm; traces of trident in background. This type has dolphin center right.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 7.5YR 7/6, reddish yellow. Slip: 2.5YR 4/6, red. Fine, somewhat hard fabric has very rare to rare, small, subrounded(?), white (calcitic) and black inclusions and common specks of gold mica. Somewhat thin, semilustrous, even slip detaching in large patches; metallic sheen where preserved. Knidian.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of central discus. Slight, sparse abrasion around edges; worn breaks; sparse specks to patches of encrustation.
