Circular ourline. Circular, slightly concave discus with filling hole left or lower left, figural relief, and narrow, rounded framing ring. Relief depicts Heracles standing in counterpoise frontal but head turned three-quarters right, nude, left arm at side and lion skin over left shoulder, right arm flexed and upstretched holding staff or club, drapery over right arm. Slightly sloping shoulder has small ovules.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Early/Middle Roman Corinthian lamp fabric: slightly soft, platy fracture, reddish.
Preservation comment
Four joining fragments and one nonjoining preserve roughly one third of discus and small part of shoulder.
