Circular outline. Circular, concave discus has large central filling hole with wide, flat framing ring, rings, and side, flat framing ring; small airhole at front. Wide, slightly sloping shoulder has small ovules. Wide, raised kite-nozzle with small wickhole; traces of burning. Tall ring handle with two grooves attaches at discus rim and at 11 mm above base groove, where it tapers to a point. Flat, circular base has single groove around incuse signature: Λ̣ΟΥΚΙΟΥ.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Early/Middle Roman Corinthian lamp fabric: fine, hard, pale; rare medium-sized, subrounded, calcitic chunks opening at surface.
Preservation comment
Ten joining fragments preserve entire discus, over two thirds of shoulder, over half of nozzle, entire handle, and roughly three quarters of base and wall below seam. Slight, sparse chipping around edges; sparse specks of encrustation.
