Frying pan. Everted rim, flat at very top, with inner face slightly flattened and outer face slightly convex. Straight flaring wall. Floor slight offset from wall on exterior, small part of base extant is flat, as expected for form.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Coarse, hard fabric mostly fired to gray but with small pinkish core where thickest towards rim. Frequent varied sandy inclusions.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of rim circumference (<5%) but complete profile of rim and outer edge of floor. Slight, extensive abrasion and pitting; worn breaks; thin, sparse patches of encrustation. Scorching from use.
