Wide flaring, convex body. Plain rim slopes outward. Long but narrow, rod-like (solid?) handle applied to rim, pressed up by finger from below and overrunning lip from above; spirally turned.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Strong reddish brown fabric fired brownish gray at surfaces. Hard, coarse fabric with hackly break and fine gritty texture. Uncommon to common, poorly sorted, small, subangular and subrounded, gray (some quartzitic?), red (iron oxide?), black, and rarely white inclusions; faintly micaceous. Wet smoothing.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 5% of rim and upper wall and one intact handle. Slight, sparse abrasion and scattered large chips; fresh breaks. Very thin, extensive film of encrustation.
