Description
Small cup. Flaring, tapering ring foot has two fine ridges on exterior and two on interior. Wide wall has slight carination just above foot. Circular groove near middle of floor. Complete graffito on bottom just inside foot: ΑΙ (alpha-iota).
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Standard ESA ware: very fine but slightly pink and slip is somewhat thin and mottled, splotchy on wall.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 40% of base and small part of lower wall. Good condition; clean breaks.
