Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric (fine, pinkish, micaceous), firing, and surface treatment (thin, mottled orangish red slip). Large irregular red chunk (iron oxide?) breaking out of front upper left wall.
Preservation comment
Most of lamp survives but missing part of central to back discus, top of handle, and front of nozzle. Moderate, extensive pitting, abrasion, and scratching; worn breaks; frequent patches of sandy accretion or mortar(?).
