Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical Late Roman Athenian lamp fabric (orangish, hard, varied small inclusions), firing (consistent), and surface treatment (faint wash).
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 25% from upper middle to back part of lamp, including large part of discus, small part of shoulder, and upper handle. Slight, sparse abrasion and pitting; worn breaks; sparse specks to patches of encrustation in relief.
