Fabric, firing, surface
Typical Middle Athenian lamp fabric (pale buff, very fine), firing (consistent), and surface treatment (unslipped).
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 30% of top back middle to left part of lamp, including roughly one-third of discus, less than one-half of discus, and most of handle. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and occasional gouging and chipping; somewhat worn breaks; rare specks of encrustation.
