Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment (thick chocolate glaze across exterior and interior; mottled, somewhat flakey). Irregular ridges inside from molding process.
Preservation comment
Three joining sherds preserve entire base and ca. 75% of lower part of lamp. Slight to moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion; worn breaks.
