Description
Pitcher. Thin cut handle, rectangular in section, attaches near or at rim and to sloping shoulder. Graffito in thin, shallow strokes inscribed after firing on upper outside surface: four overlapping chis (χ)?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Gray fabric, fired consistently slightly darker at surface. Granular break. Fine, hard fabric with small, rounded to subrounded white to off-white, sometimes crystalline(?) inclusions. Unslipped.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves on entire handle. Overall good condition; slight chipping around ends and scattered specks of encrustation.
