Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric (Late Roman “brick red“), firing, and surface treatment. Aligned seam but slight lateral ridging and webbing. Cast from very worn mold.
Preservation comment
Intact. Extensive, moderate to severe erosion, pitting, and flaking; large but sparse patches of encrustation.
