Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: pinkish buff; fine; well-sorted, frequent, tiny black and white bits; slightly micaceous. Consistent hard firing. Thick, even, semimatte slip, orangish red. Southwest Asia Minor: Knidian? Retouching on beard to enhance texture.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves part of middle to lower face on plastic lamp. Slight to moderate, somewhat extensive pitting and abrasion; slip is slightly flaking; worn breaks; rare specks of encrustation.
