- Description
- Oval outline narrowing to nozzle. Circular discus with raised rim and figural relief: lion crouching right with foliage to left; somewhat schematic details. Outward sloping shoulder with rounding rim bears grape leaves and rosette of eight dots. Solid handle with two grooves above and one below; lower handle defined by flanking grooves. Flat elliptical base with incuse design: two almond shaped grooves, single circles at apices, around palm branch.

- Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment. Widely smoothed seem and slight rights extending up sides of handle.
- Preservation comment
- Three joining sherds preserves ca. 55% from center to back of lamp, including over one-half of discus and one-quarter of left shoulder (Ke 735) with back right shoulder, entire handle and adjacent back wall, and ca. 30% of bottom (Ke 753). Slight to moderate, sparse abrasion and pitting; slightly worn breaks; infrequent, thick patches of encrustation.
