Description
Pitcher or small amphora? High sloping shoulder. Graffito in Greek letters in deep, distinct strokes inscribed before firing on upper shoulder to up turn to neck.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale yellow fabric, consistently fired. Fine, hard; smooth break. Rare, very small, well sorted, angular and subangular red and orange particle; numerous tiny black bits. Wet smoothing across surface.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of shoulder. Surface in good condition with slight chipping around edges.
