Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: pale orange with reddish tinge; soft, fine, granular break; very rare to rare, tiny to small, well sorted, subrounded(?), mixed white, black, and red-brown particles), firing (consistent?), and surface treatment (dark brown slip, inside but lower wall and base reserved; thin, flakey). Cf. KE 929-L 216.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve much of lower half of lamp, including entire base but missing part of left wall and most of nozzle. Slight, sparse abrasion and rare gouging and chipping; worn breaks; very faint cloud of white discoloration?
