Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: reddish yellow; fine but slightly granular; common, well sorted, very small, subrounded and rounded pale red and gray inclusions and white bit (fine sandy?); moderately to highly micaceous; two large subangular lime chunks). Firing consistent and hard. Wheelmade body; handmade nozzle luted to body. Smoothed surface. Cretan?
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve complete lamp but missing upper handle and neck up to filling hole. Slight, rare gouges; mostly clean breaks and surface. Burning around back nozzle from use.
