Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: yellow with a tinge of pink; somewhat soft; gritty texture, slightly granular break; uncommon, small, well sorted, subangular, white and rare, small, angular black inclusions, varied tiny bits; micaceous. Variable firing. Slip: brownish red slip survives in large patches, outside and inside(?) lamp; thin, even, semilustrous(?).
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 60% from upper middle to right part of lamp, including over one-half of discus, the right shoulder, and the entire nozzle. Moderate, extensive abrasion; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation.
