Description
Small one-handled cup; short everted rim with intentional fine grooves on outer face and below. Five barbotine appliqués preserved, two at left wider, three at right smaller.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Hard fine, reddish-brown fabric, consistently fired with no core. Darker slip is thickest under rim and around barbotine appliqués; slip is thinner on interior, which carries fine brush marks.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of rim and upper portion of wall. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and chipping, slightly worn breaks; faint paints of encrustation.
