Typological identification comment
Proportions, doubled discus rim and plain shoulder, thin wall, and slip all point to latest Broneer Type XXVIIC in first quarter of 4th c. CE; only known parallel signed by late Corinthian lampmaker, Valerios.

Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric (very fine, whitish buff), firing, and surface treatment (matte, thin, uneven, very pale brown slip). Very thin walled. Rare medium clay nodules in grooves.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve ca. 15% of back right discus with adjacent shoulder and base of upper handle attachment. Slight, extensive abrasion and faint pitting; worn breaks.
