Amphora. Straight upper body with dense ridging; rounded shoulder. Tall handle, angular oval in section, attaches at lower shoulder (and neck?). Red dipinto in one or two lines across shoulder alongside handle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale red fabric; consistently fired. Hard, medium fine; granular break; gritty texture. Frequent, well sorted, tiny, black and white, rarely red, inclusions, mostly subrounded(?); rare, small, rounded voids; no visible mica.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves part of upper body and shoulder with lower attachment of one handle. Very faint abrasion; worn breaks; uncommon, small, thick bits and patches of encrustation.
