Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical Middle-Late Roman Athenian fabric (pale red?; rather fine), firing (hard), and surface (thin, even wash). Extensive secondary scorching obscures material properties.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves ca. 20% from back of lamp with upper handle. Very slight, sparse abrasion and scratching; mostly clean breaks; thin, extensive calcareous encrustation in grooves.
