Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical Middle-Late Roman Athenian fabric (orangish red; slightly gritty; uncommon to common, tiny to small, well sorted, mixed white, black, and gray-red-brown particles), firing, and surface treatment (brownish red, darker than fabric; some thick, variable distribution, semimatte).
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 35% from upper middle to front part of lamp, including under one-half of discus, small part of front shoulder, and most of back nozzle. Slight, extensive abrasion and sparse chipping and scratching; worn breaks.
