Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric (orangish red but more pale at very surface; granular; uncommon, small to rarely medium, well sorted, mostly subangular, white (calcareous) inclusions), firing, and surface treatment (unslipped). Slight seam ridging and webbing.
Preservation comment
Five joining sherds preserve ca. 12% from top of lamp, include small part of back right shoulder, entire handle, and entire bottom but missing nozzle. Moderate, extensive abrasion, pitting, and scratching; worn breaks; thin but widespread film of encrustation.
