Fabric: pale gray with tinge of brown, more red at very surface (>1 mm); grtty texture; granular break; medium coarse, with unccommon, small, well sorted, rounded and subrounded, white inclusions; and rare, medium to large, angular, lime chunks, some exploding at surface. Variable firing across surface from top to bottom. Traces of wet-smoothing across top and sides. Wheelmade; stringcut base; handmade nozzle, with fingerprints and indentations from modelling visible.
Preservation comment
Six joining fragments preserve most of lamp but small parts of discus and base and entire handle. Chipping around edges; slightly worn breaks; rare specks of encrustation.
