Flat plate with ring foot. Single incised ring partially preserved on interior floor above base. Ring foot has squarish profile, slightly sloping inner face, and groove on outer face. Underside of base has tooled offset at center; the toolmark creates an overlap at the edge of the offset where potter lifted point off the vessel. Rectangular stamp in center of floor: ΙΛΓ (?; dots between letters and within triangle of lambda).
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very fine gray fabric with occasional small dark bits, no micaceous flakes. Very dark gray slip is preserved only in tiny patches in recesses.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves entire base and central part of floor. Slip all but entirely gone, small patches extant in recesses. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor scratching and rare chipping; worn breaks.
