Description
Bowl with rounded and incurving wall, short everted rim, and low ring foot. Straight walls turn in above widest point. Triangular rim with rounded out face, concave upper. Short base sharply marked off from wall on exterior; hollow with short triangular button. Turning bands visible on interior and exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very fine, slightly pink fabric. Dark red slip, semimatte, thick; drip marks on exterior.
Preservation comment
Four joining sherds preserve ca. 75% of vessel with full profile. Slight-moderate, frequent abrasion with rare pitting; worn slip cracking on top of rim; scattered specks of encrustation.
