Late Roman Attic lamp fabric (pale red), firing, and surface (smoothed). Flattened, smoothed seam and slight left misalignment at handle.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve ca. 65% of upper middle to left part of lamp, including over one-half of discus, left shoulder up to middle of nozzle, and upper handle. Moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion and minor gouging; somewhat worn breaks; faint white patches of white discoloration (calcareous?).
