1960s: joined with natural shellac and white plaster infilling to complete form of vessel.
Description
Bowl with rounded walls and everted rim, low ring foot. Rim has two light grooves, one where it turns from wall and one near lip. Short base has slight flaring outer face, inward sloping lower face and concentric offset separating it from lower face of floor.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly pink, very fine fabric. Elongated voids visible on exterior surface. Thin, dark red slip is worn, largely missing on interior.
Preservation comment
Four joining sherds preserve roughly 30% of vessel, including full profile and complete base. Extensive, moderate abrasion across surface and large chips in base.
