Conservation
1960s: joined with shellac and infilled with white plaster.
Description
Hemispherical bowl with flange and ring foot. Rouletting on rim above flange. Light groove on exterior below rim, applied after rouletting; more prominent interior groove below rim. Central stamp in rounded rectangular frame: CRASI.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very fine fabric with no visible inclusions; fired to consistent light red. Slip dark red.
Preservation comment
Twenty-four joining sherds preserve ca. 25% of rim in two parts and base except for chips. Most of bowl below flange extant. Extensive, slight abrasion with minor pitting and scratching; slip worn but original gloss is well preserved in patches.
