1960s: infilling with fine white plaster painted pale gray.
Description
Thin-walled hemispherical bowl. Ring foot; convex underside.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very fine fabric, probably lightened by marine exposure; no visible inclusions. Dark red slip, mostly gone.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 20% of rim, almost entire profile, and 25% of base circumference; profile does not extend to center of base. Extensive, modern erosion and abrasion so that fabric discolored and slip almost entirely gone except band below rim, a patch on lowest floor, and prominent drip on exterior.
