Description
Wide ring foot angles outward. Slight, sharp ridge at midpoint of interior sloping face.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
2.5 YR 6/6 (light red). Slightly coarse fabric, rare small angular gray rocks; slightly micaceous; small to medium, irregular voids. Unslipped.
Preservation comment
Almost complete vessel from two large joining sherds, one preserving entire bowl and one preserving ca. 50% of base. Severe, extensive erosion and flaking across all surfaces such that vessel is disintegrating; all edges blunt. Weathering consistent with long marine submersion.
