Dish with low, slightly rounded wall and downturned rim with two grooves on upper face. Slight bead at inner edge of downturned rim that then has very slight downward curve to its outer edge. An offset separates lower part of inner wall from floor. Slightly flaring ring foot has narrow profile and come to sharp point at its lowest edge. Two closely-spaced concentric grooves on interior floor just outside circumference of ring foot. Floor inside these is slight depressed.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine fabric was likely originally light red to pink and slip was dark red, though have been affected by marine submersion. Hard; smoth break; very rare, small, subrounded, black inclusions.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 20% of rim and almost all of profile but center of floor is missing. Extensive, moderate abrasion and minor pitting. Slip essential absent except in few places and fabric discolored by long submersion in marine environment.
