1960s: reconstruction with fine white plaster painted gray.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Orange red fabric, surface fired consistently more pale. Texture and consistency distorted by weathering: fine; uncommon, poorly sorted, tiny to small, white (calcareous) inclusions; highly micaceous.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 30% of lid. Extensive, severe erosion, soft and powdery surface, consistent with marine submersion over long period.
