Conservation
1960s: traces of shellac along break indicates mending of now missing sherds and/or plaster infilling.
Description
Small cup or bowl with flaring walls and short ring foot. Light groove partially extant below sharp transition to missing rim. Walls distinct from floor at transition, with light tooled groove. Base offset from wall on exterior, slight groove at top of ring foot that has slight triangular profile; concentric offset on lower face of floor.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very fine, slightly pink fabric. Large rounded void visible on exterior, smaller irregular voids on interior. Thin dark slip is worn or missing on interior, patchy on exterior.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 75% of vessel, including full profile below rim and entire base. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and minor pitting; worn breaks.
