Description
Dish with out turned rim, low rounded walls. Slight inflection in outer wall profile.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Very fine, very pale pink fabric is normal for ware. A relatively large, dark inclusion has caused a single large pit on exterior; other very rare, tiny inclusions, again as typical for ware. Thin red slip is widely abraded but well preserved in patches; double dipping streak is very evident particularly on interior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 30% of rim and adjacent wall; entire base is missing but sherd broke right as outer floor turns down. Slight to moderate in places, extensive abrasion with slight scratching and pitting, so that slip is patchy; worn breaks; gray cloudy patches on surface.
