Fabric, firing, and surface description
Typical fabric (pale buff; fine but slghtly gritty; varied tiny bits), firing, and surface treatment (thick, semimatte, brown glaze with reddish streaks, mottled; peeling in large flakes).
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves small part of discus and ca. 30% of front right rim, including volume and back right base of nozzle. Moderate, extensive abrasion and pitting, and minor scratching; flaking slip surfaces on in patches and in grooves; worn breaks; rare specks of encrustation.
