- Description
- Rounded shoulder. Short, truncoconical neck. Flaring rim has pointed lip with angular outer face and concave inner face. Distinct but rounded turn on inside at base of rim. Short, angled loop handle, elliptical in section, attaches at middle of neck to base of rim and at shoulder. Black dipinto on neck between handles: three or four lines, possibly four or five characters in each; only lower left character completely preserved, κ(?); vertical stroke at left runs from base of neck to just under rim.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Standard LRA2 southern Argolid fabric. Very slightly granular fabric fired to consistent brown, golden micaceous flakes, small lime chunks, rarely large, other varied tiny bits; some spalling on interior. Exterior surface has thin, matte, pale slip.
- Preservation comment
- Two joining sherds (0007+1006) preserve 40% of rim, entire neck, one complete handle and start of other, and small part of upper body. Slight, sparse abrasion around edges otherwise clean breaks; thin, sparse patches of encrustation..
