Typological identification comment
Not a typical Form 3F: rim has simplified form and no rouletting but shows essential features.
Description
Large bowl. Inward sloping upper face of rim, outer face quite vertical with slight groove near bottom; underside of flange curves gently inward to sharp offset.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Brownish red fabric; medium fine, hard; slightly granular break. Frequent, rounded, lime inclusions; rare, other tiny inclusions, within range for ware. Thin, dull matte slip on all surfaces, graying around rim from firing. Fine brush marks on interior; turning marks on exterior. Classic LRC fabric.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of rim and upper body. Clean breaks but slight chipping along edges; scattered, thin patches of encrustation.
