Description
Globular body, somewhat squat. Plain, rounded bottom. Low sloping shoulders with distinct turn to neck. Tall truncoconical neck. Vertical loop handles, oval in section, attach at middle-upper neck and shoulder. Wavy combing shows diagonal pattern of slight change of orientation of comb, extending from lower handle attachment to just below maximum diameter of body. Three distinct, wide, horizontal grooves just below middle of body and several faint, narrower, horizontal grooves on lower body.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Micaceous variant of Standard LRA2 Argolid fabric, with typical firing and surface treatment.
Preservation comment
Fifteen joining sherds preserve complete body, one handle, and ca. 30% of neck. Very slight chipping but clean breaks and generally well preserved. Large patches of ashy scorching on interior face of some sherds.
